The North Riverside Recreation Department provides recreation programs and park facilities to enhance the quality of life to our residents.  Our programs are designed to meet the social, physical, intellectual and emotional needs of children and adults of all ages through quality recreational activities that are fun, family-oriented and meaningful.  In addition, our parks have been designed for both group and individual activities, as well as for the passive enjoyment of the beauty of the outdoors.

General Park and Facility Rules

    **Please Note: Some facilities/parks have specific rules.  Please refer to the rules and regulations set forth when you reserve the facility/park.  If you have questions, please call our office at (708) 442-5515.

  ~ No alcoholic beverages permitted AT ANY TIME

  ~ No open fires or grilling is permitted

  ~ No golfing is allowed

  ~ No dogs are allowed in any park at any time

  ~ Adult supervision is required for children using playground equipment

  ~ Priority for the use of facilities and parks is given to Village Sponsored events and programs

  ~ Parks open at sunrise and close at sunset
