Village Commons

The Recreation Department is located in the Village Commons.  The Commons is home to our Youth Basketball Program, as well as many of the recreation classes and programs.  

 

Veterans Park

Veteran’s Park is located on 26th Street just south and west of North Riverside Park Mall, just west of Harlem Avenue, and East of DesPlaines Avenue.  This park is home to all of our Baseball, 16” Softball, and Soccer Leagues.  It has two regulation 16” softball fields, 3 regulation little leauge baseball fields, one regulation t-ball field and several soccer fields.  There is also a concession stand with restrooms and a playground for children.  The field is also equipped with the Village’s state of the art lightening warning system.

 

Baseball fields may be used on a first come first served basis, but Village sponsored events have priority.  To make a ball field reservation, teams must fill out a request form.  Please Contact the Recreation Department for more information.
